Job summary

Weber State University seeks Tutors & Mentors for the Athletics Academic Stadium House for Student-Athlete Success to support assigned student-athletes across various majors and subjects.

Mentors will help with study skills, time management, and test-taking strategies, and may specialize in Math, English, Anatomy, Chemistry, Accounting, Engineering, CS, Physics and Nutrition. Hours are flexible; the Athletics Academic Center offers extensive evening hours.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED.
• Mentors should be comfortable mentoring/tutoring student-athletes in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work with student-athletes from different backgrounds and varying languages and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Tutor/mentor student-athletes across majors and subjects.
• Assist with test-taking tips, note taking, calendaring, and time management.
