Qualifications

• Current and valid state license for massage therapy.
• 2 years’ experience as a professional massage therapist.
• Willingness to uphold and live by the university's Honor Code.
• New employees who are LDS members must hold a current temple recommend (verified during application).

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy to student-athletes referred by staff athletic trainer and/or physician.
• Provide 30-minute massages targeting student-athletes' needs.
• Serves up to 10–15 student-athletes per day.
• Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions.
• Maintain treatment records.
• Collaborate with Athletic Trainers to administer appropriate treatment.
• Provide communication and feedback with trainers about student-athletes.
• Supervise five Athletic Training students and teach massage techniques.
