Job summary

Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA is seeking an hourly part-time Counselor to support General Counseling, Dual Enrollment & Outreach, Welcome Center and other programs. Varied schedule: M-TH 8:00am-7:00pm, F 8:00am-2:00pm.

A Master’s degree and a California CC Counselor Credential are required, plus commitment to diversity. Position is part-time not to exceed 24 hours per week; applications must be submitted online with transcripts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field as listed in the job description.
• Valid California Community College Counselor Credential or equivalent.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students.
