Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Education or a related field is required.
• One year of related experience required; work experience cannot substitute for education.
• Experience advising student-athletes and knowledge of FERPA practices are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and advising to student-athletes on major and career planning; maintain accurate information on academic progress.
• Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations of the Student-Athlete Academic Support Services Center.
• Coordinate student-athlete orientation and perform eligibility evaluations.
• Prepare reports including graduation plans and progress/grade reports.
• Proctor exams for student-athletes at non-standard times or while traveling for athletic competitions.
