Job summary

The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking a Student Assistant for the Drinking Water Field Operations Branch in San Bernardino, CA. The role supports oversight of public water systems under the Mojave and San Bernardino Districts, with emphasis on effective communication and office tasks.

This is an hourly, part‑time position with a rolling 1500‑hour limit. Telework may be available with in‑person attendance as required by operational needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid driver’s license (if the position requires driving)

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional ancillary support to Field Office staff for oversight of public water systems under Mojave and San Bernardino Districts
• Communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and use Microsoft Office Suite daily
