This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill Student Assistant assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary: The purpose of this position is to serve as chief photographer and photo editor for Del Mar’s student newspaper, the Foghorn News.

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a college publication or other news publication preferred.
• Graphic artist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AP style preferred.
• Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred.
• Skilled in video editing preferred.
