The University of Georgia is seeking a Student Assistant for research in Tifton, Georgia. Assist the lead scientist and technician in planting, data collection, and harvesting of peanut agronomy research plots. Responsibilities include data collection, data entry, plot stake labeling, cleaning and filling sprayers, plot maintenance, and plot photography. Duties are primarily performed during early morning hours (6:00 am) and require punctuality.
Work outside in inclement weather when needed, lift up to 50 lb, work with and around equipment, be pesticide friendly, and drive as required.
