Job summary

The State of Michigan's MiLEAP department is seeking a Student Assistant to support staff developing regulations, rules, and policies for Early Education and PreK programs. Under supervision of professional staff, you will help with data collection, draft summaries, and materials, and assist with communications with school districts and partner agencies.

You will participate in trainings and contribute to project tracking and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an educational institution; documentation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and organization for PreK and Early Education grants.
• Prepare draft summaries or informational materials.
• Support communications with intermediate and local school districts, community-based organizations, and partner agencies.
• Help track activities related to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in trainings/webinars and support the PreK Manager and team as assigned.
