What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Assist management, specialists, and engineers in resolving policy, technical, and administrative issues related to air quality
  • Manage, monitor, and organize documents and calendars for efficiency
  • Gather, compute, and analyze scientific data on state and local incentive and regulatory programs
  • Create visualizations and present findings from data analyses
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of Commission staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Must be a college student enrolled in at least six-semester units or nine quarter units for undergraduate students; four-semester units or six quarter units for graduate students
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience gathering, computing, and analyzing scientific data
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting air quality data, including compliance, maintenance, and monitoring plans
  • Skilled in preparing and maintaining records and files accurately
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including map rendering and spatial analysis
