Job Summary

The Department of Chemistry is seeking a detail-oriented and academically strong student to support the development of an Affordable Learning Georgia grant project titled Chemistry Unlocked: Interactive Problem-Solving with OpenStax. The student in this position will assist with solving, organizing, and preparing chemistry problems that will be used to create instructional video modules. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a STEM student to strengthen their chemistry knowledge, contribute to a system-wide academic resource, and gain experience working on an educational development project.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.

  • Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters.

Preferred Qualifications
  • STEM major, preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with general chemistry concepts.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with digital note-taking or annotation tools is a plus.
