Posting Summary | Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a highly motivated Student Assistant to work within the Toosizadeh Lab in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences. In this role, the Student Assistant will work on translational projects at the intersection of biomechanics, frailty and cognitive impairment assessment, and machine learning. Within this research program, the goal is to address the critical aging research questions:
To support this work, an important component of this position will be to work as part of an interdisciplinary team spanning across colleges of engineering, medicine, and science. In addition, the Student Assistant will be required to lead independent research projects, work closely with medical collaborators and other students, and publish high-quality research each year. Work will take place at one of two allocated locations based on requirements: Newark and/or New Brunswick/Piscataway Campuses. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
