Job Summary

The Techtmann lab in the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering is seeking an undergraduate student assistant to contribute to research related to engineering microbial communities for improved uptake of metal by plants. This student would contribute to routine propagation and characterization of bacterial isolates from diverse environments. They will assist in experiments aimed at engineering microbial consortia for improved tolerance of metals and production of plant growth promoting traits.
