The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is looking for a motivated Student Assistant to support the Analytics Center of Excellence. This position offers hands-on experience in data entry, analytics, and reporting while contributing to departmental priorities.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is committed to enhancing the quality and safety of care provided to patients. As part of the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) the Student Assistant will support the department’s data, analytics, and reporting activities through a combination of data entry, data collection, data organization, analysis, reporting, and project support. This position is designed for a motivated student who is interested in gaining practical experience with real‑world data and analytics work while contributing to projects that support departmental and organizational priorities.
The role may include entering and maintaining data, compiling information from multiple sources, assisting with data quality checks, preparing reports, supporting dashboards, and helping with data processing or transformation. Depending on the student’s skills and interests, the position may also involve exploratory analysis, advanced analytics, automation, visualization, and creative problem‑solving to improve how data is used for decision‑making.
The Student Assistant will work with department staff, analysts, project leads, and other team members to support data‑driven initiatives. This role will help ensure information is accurate, organized, timely, and useful for reporting, analysis, and operational decision‑making.
