Job summary

EMPOWER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH is seeking a dedicated RBT Case Manager to collaborate with BCBA oversight and provide compassionate ABA services to young learners. You will manage 3-4 cases, develop skill acquisition programs, write behavior intervention plans, and assist in staff training.

Qualifications

  • Must have RBT certification and be eligible for BCBA supervision.
  • Master’s degree completion anticipated within six months.
  • Projected BCBA fieldwork hours within six months of hire (max 30 hrs/week).
  • Experience working with children aged 18 months to 12 years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA services to patients under BCBA oversight.
  • Develop and write skill acquisition programs linked to DSM criteria.
  • Write and update behavior intervention plans and treatment plans.
  • Conduct initial and follow‑up assessments and functional analyses.
  • Assist in staff trainings and supervisor oversight.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and clear parent‑friendly communication.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other professionals as part of a team.

Job description

Job Summary:

Our RBT Case Manager’s work closely with our patients to provide an unparalleled level of service through compassionate and knowledgeable care, in combination with the intensive nature of our individualized program.

EBH was created with the mission of empowering families by providing the most effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to ensure that learners with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage in patient‑related BACB‑approved activities with BCBA oversight to develop hands‑on clinical skills for the patient’s case assigned to manage (Case assignments will range from 3‑4 patients at a time)
  • Assist the BCBA and lead caregiver training
  • Maintain professional boundaries with caregivers and communicate effectively using parent‑friendly communication
  • Develop and write individualized skill acquisition programs that tie back to the DSM
  • Write behavior intervention plans
  • Evaluate risk and crisis management
  • Conduct initial and follow‑up assessments and indirect assessments
  • Develop and write initial treatment plans
  • Update treatment plans following best practice and insurance guidelines
  • Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessment
  • Answer questions of other technicians regarding specific ABA terminology or procedures
  • Assist in staff trainings through presentations on conference and research material
  • Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis services to patients as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:
  • Must have RBT certification
  • Master’s degree completion anticipated within six (6) months
  • Must be projected to complete all remaining BCBA fieldwork hours within six (6) months of hire, based on a maximum accrual rate of 30 hours per week
  • Experience working with children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years old
  • Willingness to be trained on the principles of ABA
  • Works cooperatively with other professionals
