Job summary

Yugo is accepting applications for 2026 Student Ambassador positions. The role involves bridging staff and students, helping run monthly events, creating social media content, and assisting at the front desk with enquiries. You will support building upkeep and health and safety as required, while balancing study commitments.

These fixed term, part‑time roles offer friendly team environment, ongoing training, and CV‑building experience, with hours designed around your study timetable.

Responsibilities

• Be the bridge between staff and students to create a safe environment
• Help out with monthly events in line with our student calendars
• Create social medial content and keep our community up to date and promote our events
• Cover the front desk and help students with enquiries such as mail items
• Help out with the look and feel of the building by reporting any issues and cleaning up if needed
• General support to the maintenance team and assistance with check in and checkout
• General admin support such as following up on email enquiries

As a Student Ambassador here are some of the tasks you can expect to get involved in:

• Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.
