Job summary

Yugo is seeking Student Ambassadors to support student housing communities. You will plan events, create social media content, and assist with front desk inquiries while promoting a friendly, safe community.

This fixed-term, part-time role offers flexible shifts to fit around your study schedule. Expect to contribute to monthly events, help maintain a welcoming environment, and support maintenance checks, with ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in community events and running activities.
• Strong communication and social media savvy.
• Reliable, friendly and approachable with basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle admin tasks and front desk duties.

Responsibilities

• Help plan monthly events aligned with student calendars.
• Create and post social media content to promote events.
• Cover front desk and assist students with inquiries (mail, etc.).
• Assist with building upkeep and safety reporting as needed.
• Provide general admin support and follow up on emails.

As a Student Ambassador here are some of the tasks you can expect to get involved in:

• Help out with monthly events in line with our student calendars
• Create social medial content and keep our community up to date and promote our events
• Cover the front desk and help students with enquiries such as mail items
• Help out with the look and feel of the building by reporting any issues and cleaning up if needed
• General support to the maintenance team and assistance with check in and checkout
• General admin support such as following up on email enquiries
• Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters
