Job summary

Weber School District South Ogden Junior High seeks a Part-Time Secondary Aide to support students in a blended learning environment. The role emphasizes student advocacy, testing coordination, and collaboration with staff to help students stay on pace with graduation requirements.

Under supervision of administrators and counselors, you will assist with MTSS monitoring, attendance tracking, and personalized student guidance. This position requires in-person presence at the school.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency with Google Suite to track, analyze, and communicate student progress.
• Knowledge of tutoring, instructional, and intervention techniques for adolescents.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address student challenges.
• Clear and empathetic communication with students, staff, families, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support MTSS Tier 2/3 students with ongoing monitoring and progress tracking.
• Build trust-based relationships with students and support their academic goals.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, counselors and community partners to monitor attendance and engagement.
• Assist with testing coordination, accommodations, and data collection.
