Job/Department Summary

Under general supervision, this position supports student financial services operations by applying established procedures to student account processing, third-party coordination, and financial record maintenance. The position is responsible for completing system-based transactions, supporting reconciliation and billing activities, and maintaining accurate account records. The incumbent provides customer service to students, campus partners, and external agencies by explaining policies, assisting with account activity, and supporting follow-up on outstanding balances. The position works collaboratively with staff to address account-related questions and ensure processes are completed accurately and consistently.

Required Education And Experience

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.

AND

Equivalent to three years of progressively responsible financial record-keeping experience which has provided the above knowledge and abilities.

Preferences

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:

• Experience providing customer service and communicating information clearly and professionally.
• Experience working with detailed information where accuracy and attention to detail are important.

Time Base: Full-time

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm

CSU Classification Salary Range: $48,444 (Step 1) - $70,572 (Step 20) per year. *New hires can be expected to be paid at the base step of the salary range.
