Staff have the opportunity to work with a variety of groups and oversee activities from recreational swimming through national level competitive events.**Requirements:** Regularly attend and participate in meetings, in-service trainings, and skills checks.**Responsibilities:** Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of, and comply with, the facility rules, and policies and procedures, and consistently and appropriately enforce them as outlined in the Aquatic Staff Manual.Consistently demonstrate positive, effective communication skills. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.**Availability Requirements:** **Additional Job Description:**Area Statement: Individuals working in aquatics receive specialized training related to health and safety to meet the legal requirements outlined in the State of Ohio Pool and Spa Code. They maintain a high level of responsibility and are required to exercise sound judgement in the completion of their duties. Strong swimming skills are required for all positions.
