Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years in a management role in highway/road construction

• Bridge substructure/superstructure erection experience (Pile Driving, Caissons/Drilled Shafts)
• Experience with CIP Retaining Walls, CIP Culverts, MSE Walls, Precast Concrete Installation
• Ability to read/design drawings, design guides and specs
• Advanced knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control and planning

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and determine method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
• Implementation and enforcement of safety policies, directing personnel and subcontractors
• Managing the permit and inspection process, maintaining files and updating and assist in regularly scheduled progress meetings
• Coordinate assigned work with different crews, company departments, or other contractors
• Maintaining consistent productivity performance, assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.), and ensuring on-time completions of all jobs per customer requirements
• Maintain good vendor relations to ensure that proper operational performance can be achieved at all times through delegation, assistance or support from the Site Foreman/Lead man and Project Manager (as required)
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in a management position of an equivalent highway/road construction related operation
• 10+ years in a management position with some financial and operational responsibilities in a highway/road construction environment
• Bridge substructure, superstructure, and bridge beam erection experience (Pile Driving, Caissons/Drilled Shafts, Pile Bents, Beam Setting, Metal Decking, Bridge Decks, Demolition)
• Demonstrated experience with CIP Retaining Walls, CIP Culverts, MSE Walls, Precast Concrete Installation
• Demonstrated knowledge of, reading & interpreting design drawings, design guides, and specifications
• Demonstrated advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and planning

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
