Valar Atomics is seeking a turbomachinery structures engineer to join the turbomachinery team and advance power generation capability. You will analyze rotating components and collaborate with cross-functional partners to define a manufacturable, high-efficiency design.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience conducting structural analysis of rotating components.
- Experience with commercial FEA codes such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus.
- Experience with high-speed rotating equipment in gas turbines, steam turbines, blowers, turboexpanders, turbopumps, etc.
Responsibilities
- Analyze turbomachinery components for structural margin and life.
- Quantify turbomachinery deflection and growth in operation.
- Partner with cross functional partners to define required clearances.
