Job description

The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Structures Area Discipline Lead to join our team.

As part of the infrastructure team, you’ll serve an integral role in the firm by managing a team that supports the successful delivery of small to mid‑size projects, enhancing strong client relationships and growth of our portfolio, and driving operational excellence, including profitability, operational efficiency, resource management, and quality deliverables. This position will foster a diverse knowledge of appropriate discipline principles and techniques; oversee and lead the delivery of multiple projects that are critical to expanding client relationships and growing our portfolio; create an engaging and empowering work environment for the team; lead client‑relationship development activities and partner with client managers and business development teams to drive top‑line sales growth; lead the development and execution of win strategies for high‑profile core business and critical pursuits; and ensure adherence to all client and regulatory requirements.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program and seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Have an active PE license in FL and be in good standing.
  • Have a passion for Structural Engineering and possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of bridge design.
  • Be capable of marketing services to existing and new clients, and adept at mentoring and encouraging a team to maximize their abilities.
  • Possess strong leadership, analytical, prioritization, problem‑solving, and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly.
