Structured Light Scan Technician - 2nd Shift

UNEW, Inc., formerly known as ETS Power Group, Inc., is an ISO certified provider of dimensional inspection services. UNEW utilizes advanced techniques for automated computer-aided dimensional inspections.

We are currently seeking a Structured Light Scan Technician - 2nd Shift. This role involves working with Gas Turbine and Aerospace parts at various manufacturing stages. The technician will operate a fully automated 3D scanning system to ensure product quality and develop inspection programs, fixtures, and methodologies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blue light inspections of complex turbine parts using ATOS scanning system.
  • Coordinate with engineering for inspection processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated inspection programs.
  • Program & operate robotic scanners.
  • Create new scanning methodologies and fixtures.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment.
  • Establish efficient inspection methods.
  • Present inspection results to Engineering.
  • Perform manual inspections of parts & tools.
  • Maintain calibration of equipment and artifacts.
Job Requirements
  • Associate degree in a technology field or applicable experience with ATOS Scanning system.
  • Related scanning or metrology experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • U.S. person status required due to ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, political asylee, or refugee).
