Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB’s SFS unit in the Americas seeks a capable banker to support origination, structuring, and execution of complex corporate finance transactions across borders. You will identify client financing solutions and prepare offers, pitches, and term sheets with Senior Bankers.

You will participate in client marketing and help develop SFS business, while coordinating with legal counsel on documentation and building financial models and credit materials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or Master's degree with accounting/finance/economics/business law coursework.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking, preferably Front Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and teamwork.
• Knowledge of corporate banking, credit and capital market products.
• SIE/63/79 licenses either completed or to be completed after starting.

At the heart of CIB and GIB, SFS is a global corporate finance business line providing well-structured and highly efficient solutions to complex financial issues of CA-CIB group’s main clients.

As SFS is a non « plain vanilla » financing group with strong structuring capabilities we have close relationships and synergies with other business lines (e.g., GMD, ERA, & M&A). Main types of products are tailor-made and complex financings, structured monetization of financial receivables, hybrid financings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the senior originators to originate, structure, sell and execute corporate and structured finance transactions in the Americas and in a cross-border environment (US to Europe or Asia)
• Identify financing or solutions for clients
• Production of offers, pitches and term sheets with Senior Bankers
• Participation in the marketing effort to clients and development of SFS business
• Participation in the negotiation and execution of complex documentations in liaison with legal counsel.
• Production of financial models, credit applications and other internal materials
• Monitor and follow up of the portfolio, including credit quality / covenants
