Job summary

Fitch Ratings seeks a Senior Director to join the Global CMBS group in our New York or Chicago office. You will lead CRE CLOs initiatives, oversee analytic teams, and guide property cash flow underwriting and market research to support rating decisions.

In this role, you will present complex conclusions to senior committees, drive publication of reports and research, and mentor analysts across the U.S. and Canada, fostering growth and rigorous, data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in finance, real estate, or related fields.
• 12+ years in commercial real estate underwriting, valuation, or related experience.
• Strong leadership with proven team-building and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Specialized role focusing on CRE CLOs including transaction analysis, market research and criteria development.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $190,000 and $225,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
