Structured Finance Associate Attorney

Location: Multiple U.S. Offices

Are you a finance attorney looking to build your career on sophisticated structured finance transactions within a leading national practice?

A highly regarded international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join its growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of law firm experience to work on complex commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions and other structured finance matters alongside experienced practitioners serving an impressive national client base.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on structured finance and commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Assist with commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions from inception through closing.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical analysis on complex finance matters.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, agreements, opinions, and related legal documentation.
• Support due diligence, closings, and transaction management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups on sophisticated financing matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service.

What We’re Looking For

• JD required.
• Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
• At least 2 years of law firm experience.
• Experience in commercial real estate finance, structured finance, CMBS, or securities offerings is preferred, but candidates with transferable finance experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction of practice, or eligibility to obtain admission.
