U.S. Bank is seeking a Structured Finance Analyst to support complex trust and structured finance transactions, manage cash and asset activity for trust accounts, and ensure accurate, timely processing while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage cash and asset activity for a portfolio of trust accounts.
• Monitor account balances, overdrafts, and uninvested cash positions.
• Process funding transactions and disbursements per governing documents.
• Review transaction documentation to determine timing/movement of funds and assets.
• Prepare trust accounting system entries and support daily account administration.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure controls, legal requirements, and client expectations are met.
• Research and resolve account inquiries, exceptions, and transaction issues.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy and client service.

Job Description

As a Structured Finance Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting complex trust and structured finance transactions. You'll help manage cash and asset activity for trust accounts, ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time, and work with internal and external partners to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

What You'll Do

Basic Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical education, or equivalent work experience
• Two to three years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial transaction processing.
• Experience interpreting transaction, trust, bond, or distribution documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and financial allocations.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
• Experience with Trust Accounting, Bond Accounting, or related financial systems is preferred.

This role requires working from a U.S Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21
