Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Trust Transaction Manager to join our Corporate Trust team in Houston. This role focuses on reviewing complex debt capital market transactions and serving as the go-to expert for product and country regulations.

You will coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams to negotiate terms, manage deal documentation, and ensure the life of the issue meets all standards. Onsite work 4 days per week in Houston, with MS Teams interviews conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
• New contracts with external clients in Structured Finance Loan.
• Structured finance, Client service, Hedge fund manager experience is desired.
• Reviewing contracts, initiating the account opening process, discuss the contract with internal and external clients.
• CLO/CDO experience is preferred but not required.
• ABS/MBS knowledge is a big plus.
• Conversion to FTE is possible.
• Onsite 4 days per week in Houston, TX.
• 1-2 rounds of interviews via MS Teams.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Corporate Trust Transaction Manager to join our Corporate Trust team.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Reviewing highly complex specialized debt capital market transactions/structures aligned to a business or multiple product segments from initiation through closing
• Being a key liaison with outside counsel and in conjunction with Client & Business Development taking the lead in negotiation of the terms of the structure
• Serve as primary contact with internal and external parties on new and existing transactions and deal documentation to ensure the life of issue meets all operational and documentation standards and mitigates any risk

Act as the Subject Matter "Go To" Expert/country specialist for product/country ensuring the business is kept up to date with market and competitor data and new regulations and laws for specific products or country regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional setting
• New contracts with external clients in Structured Finance Loan
• Structured finance, Client service, Hedge fund manager, etc. experience is desired.
• Reviewing contracts, initiating the account opening process, comfort level with discussing the contract with internal (legal, risk standards) and external clients
• CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations)/CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligations) is preferred (will definitely help the candidate’s chances) but is not considered a must-have requirement
• ABS (Asset-backed securities)/MBS (Mortgage-backed securities) is a big plus
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Conversion to FTE is possible
