Job summary

Vallum in Greenwich, CT is seeking an energetic renewable energy finance professional to structure and execute tax equity and debt financing for solar projects. You will lead negotiations, build financial models, coordinate with lenders and investors, and partner with cross‑functional teams to close deals and monitor portfolio performance.

2+ years in solar project finance or related fields is required, with strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure and execute tax equity and debt financing transactions to support the company's renewable energy and solar project investments.
• Lead negotiations for key financing documents, including tax equity partnership agreements, credit agreements, securitization documents, and HoldCo financing agreements.
• Manage transaction due diligence and coordinate with legal counsel, technical consultants, rating agencies, lenders, tax equity investors, and other external partners through financial close.
• Work closely with tax equity investors, lenders, and financing partners throughout deal marketing, closing, and ongoing facility management.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used to evaluate renewable energy investments, project cash flows, returns, debt structures, and tax benefits.
• Partner with internal development, construction, legal, accounting, and operations teams to support successful project execution and financing.
• Monitor the financial performance of operating solar and renewable energy assets, working with the operations team to identify performance trends and potential financial impacts.
• Support ongoing portfolio management, including financial reporting, covenant monitoring, lender requirements, and financing-related analysis.
