Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Structured Securities Analyst to join the 40|86 Advisors team in Carmel, IN. Under technical direction, you will support research and analysis that informs investment decisions in the fixed income portfolio.

You will use Intex and Bloomberg for cash flow modeling, monitor positions, and contribute to credit analysis, risk management, and portfolio construction while collaborating with Portfolio Managers and Traders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required.
• Typically up to three years investment experience.
• Strong initiative and willingness to learn and accept guidance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist identifying attractive investment opportunities (ABS, RMBS, CMBS).
• Monitor existing positions via servicing data, sector research, and market discussions.
• Use Intex and Bloomberg to generate and evaluate cash flows.
• Evaluate pricing and performance attribution; communicate sources of return.
• Follow capital markets trends impacting securitized sectors.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Traders to support investment decisions.
• Develop skills through internal and external resources.
