Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years hands-on experience with cable infrastructure.
• BICSI Installer 2 certification (Copper or Optical Fiber) preferred.
• Driver's license required; NC Low/High Voltage license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install data and phone cabling with testing, labeling, and cable certifications.
• Inspect contractor work at new facilities and ensure quality.
• Terminate and test cabling, including patch panels and block punch downs.
• Test and troubleshoot faulty cable; cross-connect circuits using patch panels.
• Maintain data center infrastructure; adhere to BICSI and NEC standards.
• Coordinate network cabling design, testing, upgrades, and support.
