Job summary

Technic Solutions in the Memphis metro area is hiring Structured Cabling Technicians to support cabling and network infrastructure projects across commercial facilities and occupied residences. You will perform hands-on cabling, equipment installations, testing, and troubleshooting as part of experienced project teams.

The company seeks dependable technicians with clean work habits and professional communication.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Must pass a background screening and drug test.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights.
Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
Professional communication and respect for customer property.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling.
Perform cable pathway work (conduit, J-hooks, cable trays).
Install network equipment including racks, patch panels, and switches.
Read and interpret site drawings and scope of work.
Test and certify cabling using industry-standard tools.
Troubleshoot connectivity and physical layer issues.
Document work performed (photos, labeling, reporting).
Maintain clean and organized job sites.
Work in both commercial and occupied residential environments with professionalism.
Company vehicle access and travel as required.
