Job summary

Elite Executive Partners in Brandon, SD is seeking a 1st & 2nd Shift Structured Cable Tech/Installer to install, maintain, and service copper and fiber cabling for network infrastructure, access control systems, video systems, and telephone services.

The role offers full-time day and evening shifts, with starting pay at $23.50 per hour based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health, vision, dental, retirement, life insurance, HSA and EAP.

Qualifications

Some experience in cabling or low voltage preferred, will train the right person.
Ability to read blueprints and architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
Knowledge of through-wall penetration systems.
Working knowledge of telecom, data, security, and wireless cabling infrastructure.
Ability to interpret floor plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation.

Responsibilities

Install cable pathways, cable trays, and equipment racks.
Install and service: low-voltage cabling, fiber optic cabling, and communications cabling/equipment.
Work with Cat 3, Cat 5, Cat 6, and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
Perform cabling upgrades and additions.
Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cabling issues.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Transport tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
