Elite Executive Partners is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician Supervisor for a weekend shift in Brandon, SD. This full-time role leads a cabling production team, oversees daily operations, and ensures quality and safety standards are met in a temperature-controlled facility.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in telecom/structured cabling, strong leadership, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of telecom or structured cabling installation experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and installation practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Structured Cabling Technician I, II, and III team members.
• Assign and coordinate daily production tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and support technicians in skill development and advancement.
• Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot cabling systems and resolve installation issues.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
• Assist with hiring, disciplinary actions, and development.
• Coordinate crew schedules with Plant Manager.
• Work with purchasing/receiving to ensure materials are available and accurate.
• Monitor material usage and inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production goals.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating workflow, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate has strong structured cabling experience, leadership abilities, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement. Essential functions:

• Supervise Structured Cabling Technician I, II, and III team members
• Assign and coordinate daily production tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of telecom or structured cabling installation experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and installation practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Basic computer skills
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and soldering equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders regularly
• Ability to bend, crouch, twist, and lift materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

Schedule
