Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within the structured cabling industry.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structured cabling installations under the direction of experienced technicians.
• Learn to identify different cable types, materials, and installation requirements.
• Assist with basic cable installation and begin developing termination skills.
• Learn proper identification and usage of industry tools and equipment.
• Support cable pathway preparation, pulling, routing, and organization.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing housekeeping duties.
• Follow NCS quality standards and installation procedures.
• Safely operate company vehicles for business purposes as assigned.
• Represent NCS professionally while interacting with customers, team members, and project partners.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on quality.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
