Jacobs is seeking a motivated Structure/Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation Project Management Group in Detroit, Michigan to deliver solutions to our clients and the region’s travelers. When you join Jacobs you’ll be part of a team responsible for all aspects of project delivery including the quality of project work performed, client service, utilization of staff, scope and fee development, contract management, invoicing, and project profitability for highway infrastructure projects.
We expect you to oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Drawing upon your expertise, you’ll establish fee estimates and coordinate multi‑disciplinary staffing for each phase of the project while working with the Project Management Principal and Group Leaders regarding assignment of project personnel. Your ability to build rapport will be utilized when you provide subconsultant management as well as staff development.
Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of projects that meet local (State, County or City) and DOT/AASHTO standards. You’ll maintain positive relationships with current and past clients and assist in the development and implementation of local marketing and business development.
We’ll also look to your expertise when researching and tracking future project opportunities with our Client Account Managers, initiating and reviewing proposals, and participating in interviews and presentations. Join us to actively challenge the status quo and reinvent tomorrow.
