Acuren Inspection, Inc. seeks an experienced Structural Steel Welding and Bolting Inspector to primarily operate from the St. Louis Park, MN office.

The role involves independent inspections in fabrication shops and on construction sites to ensure conformance to codes and project specs. Responsibilities include calibrating NDT equipment, performing tests, interpreting results, reporting findings, and possibly supervising others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.

Responsabilités

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for examination with safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, and conductometers.
• Organize and report test results; perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others; perform other tasks as assigned.
