Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to fabricate, weld, and assemble structural components with precision. The role requires reading blueprints, using Flux-Core welding, and maintaining safety standards on a fast-paced site in Georgia.

Expect to work a Monday–Thursday schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm with frequent overtime. The ideal candidate has 5 years of structural welding experience, can pass 3G/4G flux-core tests, and works well independently or in a team to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven Flux-Core welding experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Must pass 3G/4G flux-core plate test and 1" visual/bend test; stringer beads only.
• 5 years of structural welding experience; fitting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Weld structural components using Flux-Core process.
• Perform 3G and 4G welds in all positions including overhead and vertical.
• Use calipers and measuring tools for precise fit-up.
• Conduct machining tasks as needed for fabrication or modification.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge.

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling structural components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality construction projects.

Pay range is $28/hour - $32/hour with lots of OT available!

Work schedule is Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm) with weekly overtime!

Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Welding structural components using the Flux-Core process
• Read and work from detailed blueprints, and perform 3G, and 4G welds in all positions including overhead and vertical, in high-pressure, demanding environment
• Use calipers, basic math skills, and measuring tools to ensure precise fit-up of parts
• Conduct machining tasks as needed for component fabrication or modification
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and schematics interpretation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Flux-Core welding within manufacturing or construction environments
• Must pass a 3g, 4g flux-core plate text, 1\" visual/bend, stringer beads only
• 5 years of structural welding experience. Experience fitting is a plus!
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
