Job Description

West Tulsa Company seeking MIG and Flux Core Welders for all shifts Monday through Friday. Pay: $20 - $28 hourly depending on experience.
Test: 3G MIG/Flux uphill.

Responsibilities:
  1. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.
  2. Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
  3. Ignites torches or starts power supplies and strikes arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits.
  4. Detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisors.
  5. Clamps, holds, tack-welds, heat-bends, grinds, or bolts component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
  6. Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, and shielded metal arc welding.
  7. Recognizes, sets up, and operates hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
  8. Interprets drawings and specifications, and performs essential duties and requirements of A.S.M.E. F/W-B, A.S.M.E. F/W-C, and A.S.M.E. F/W-D.
Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.

Skills & Abilities Required:
  1. Must be alert and have good manual dexterity.
  2. Must possess good decision-making attributes regarding Quality.
  3. Familiar with Pipeline systems, products, and processes a plus.
  4. Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence others positively.
  6. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
