Job summary

Matrix Service is seeking a skilled welder to perform welding and grinding per job specifications on field projects. The role requires selecting equipment, planning layout, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has training and experience in FCAW and SMAW welding, the ability to travel/relocate, and a commitment to continuous safety training. Full-time position with competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication environment must be able to pass the following weld tests.
• Tests include FCAW and SMAW positions across multiple joints.
• Must obtain and maintain safety and site training as required.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values.
• Represents the Company with high moral standards and conducts work with quality welds.
• Efficiently produce quality welds and assist with fit-up, preparation, inspection, and repair.
• Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues on the job site.
• Comply with safety policies and identify hazards to minimize risk.
