Qualifications

• Ability to read shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Able to operate cutting torch and grinders safely.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel parts for structural, plate, and misc. steel assemblies per shop drawings and quality requirements.
• Identify shapes, sizes, tolerances, and weld according to symbols and procedures.
• Preheat and cut pieces when required; clean welds and ensure proper finish.
• Operate overhead and jib cranes, forklifts, and related equipment to move materials.
• Fabricate sub-pieces as trained; detect drawing errors early; follow safety rules.
