Job summary

Whirlwind Steel is seeking an experienced Structural Welder for the night shift to weld structural steel components using FCAW per specifications and ASW D1.1 quality standards.

You will read shop details, set up equipment, perform FCAW in multiple positions, and inspect welds to ensure quality while working with overhead cranes and maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding certification preferred/required.
• Minimum 2 years of structural welding experience.
• Experience with FCAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding standards.
• Overhead cranes experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
