Qualifications

• Must pass AWS 2G flux core multi-pass weld test on 1-inch plate.
• Experience with multi-pass flux core wire feed welding.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending and climbing all day.
• Comfort with hand tools and measurement devices.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Willingness to work overtime including Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Position, fit-up, layout, cut, and weld materials per shop drawings.
• Interpret AWS welding symbols and fabrication standards.
• Read BOMs to identify required materials and components.
• Perform quality inspections per AWS D1.1 standards.
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely (torches, grinders, air arc, cranes).
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow PPE rules.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and quality targets.
