Job summary

TrueNorth Steel - Lubbock is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Game Changer team in Lubbock, TX. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am, with overtime as needed.

You will weld on flat and horizontal joints, follow safety and quality requirements, and maintain welding qualifications. TrueNorth Steel offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of material identification and welding equipment setup.
• Able to read and interpret weld symbols.
• Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
• Operate safely and accurately.
• Maintain qualifications and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
• Master all aspects of level 1 position.
• Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility.
• Work on semi-routine assignments.
