Job summary

DBM Global seeks a Production Welder to join its team, contributing expertise in FCAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW to fabricate structural, bridge and industrial components. The role requires performing welds in various positions and maintaining rigorous quality under AWS D1.1 standards.

The ideal candidate will follow welding procedures, pass tests, and operate safely while supporting complex projects in the commercial building, bridge and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass required weld test.
• AWS D1.1 certification or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC).
• Weld on ground level, above ground and below ground in required positions.
• Chip, peen and grind material to prepare for welding or finish.
• Weld structural, bridge and industrial materials with tight tolerances.
• Perform gouging and scarfing as needed.
• Transport material by crane when required.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
