Job summary

DBM Global is seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team in Humble, Texas, contributing to high-profile commercial and bridge projects. The role requires welding in various positions with FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW while adhering to AWS and AISC procedures.

You will read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals, work with established weld tests, and pass AWS D1.1 standards. Come support large-scale structures with a growth-minded team at DBM Global.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 12 months of stable work experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• AWS D1.1 welding certification or test pass is required or must be attainable.

Responsibilities

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC) and weld in multiple positions.
• Weld structural, bridge and industrial materials including plates, girders and tanks.
• Grind, chip, and prepare material for welding; perform gouging and scarfing as needed.
• Operate crane to transport materials; maintain a clean and safe work area.
