Job summary

Tate Americas, part of Kingspan Data Solutions, is seeking a Welder for 2nd or 3rd shift in Glasgow, KY. The role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling metal parts, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring weld quality across production lines.

You will work on second shift (Mon-Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) or third shift (Sun-Thu 11:00 PM–7:30 AM) with an 11.15% shift differential. Competitive pay, health benefits, and growth opportunities accompany this demanding and rewarding position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• AWS certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in structural welding.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Able to interpret instructions in written/oral/diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Select, measure, cut, and join metals to specifications.
• Prepare metals and surfaces for assembly.
• Interpret blueprints accurately.
• Inspect welding equipment and tools for safety.
• Test welds for strength during and after projects.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures.
