Job summary

Tarpon Specialty Services is seeking Structural Welders for an industrial construction project in Greenville, MS, with immediate openings for qualified candidates from the Memphis area. Responsibilities include performing structural welding in various positions, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, are qualified in FCAW and SMAW welding, and can pass a pre-employment drug screening. Per diem is available for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural welding experience in industrial or heavy construction environments.
• Qualified in 2G, 3G, and 4G welding positions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld procedure specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using FCAW and SMAW processes.
• Inspect welds for conformance to specification.
• Follow all site safety protocols and OSHA standards.
