Job summary

Hutco, Inc. is seeking Structural Welders in Paducah, Kentucky. Candidates should have at least 2 years of welding experience and be able to pass hands-on certification tests, a drug test, and E-Verify.

Job location is 4540 Clarks River Road, Paducah, KY 42003. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a $130 daily per diem for eligible employees. PPE requirements include hard hat, steel‑toe boots, safety glasses and gloves.

Responsibilities

• Knowlege of equipment, work processes, and techniques for this role, and perform all functions safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Enter and move through manholes to work in confined spaces.
• Lift and transport loads up to 50 lb (75 lb occasionally) and up to 200 ft.
• Operate machines and tools essential to the Ship Fitter position.
• Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights; negotiate uneven surfaces.

DESCRIPTION:

Currently seeking Structural Welders to work in Paducah, Kentucky. To be considered for this Structural Welder position, you must have at least 2 years of experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass hands-on certification tests.
• Must pass drug test and E-Verify.
• Personal Protective Equipment:

Hard Hat, Steel Toe Safety Boots, Safety Glasses, Gloves

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must have knowledge of equipment, work processes, and techniques used for this role including the ability to perform all functions of the position in conformity with applicable regulations and generally observed safety practices.
• Enter and move through manholes to reach and work in internally confined spaces.
• Manipulate and transport loads up to 50 pounds over distances of up to 200 feet approximately 1 to 6 times during each 8 hour shift, occasionally 75 pounds.
• Manipulate and operate all machines and tools essential to the performance of the position of Ship Fitter.
• Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights.
• Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces and uneven heights between dock and vessel.
• Stooping, squatting, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
