Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG and Flux-core welding is required.

• Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Previous structural welding experience preferred.
• Reliability and ability to maintain shift schedule.

Job Title: Structural Welder
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5am-1:30pm/3:30pm depending on workload
Pay Range: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team on a second-shift schedule. This role involves fabricating and welding structural components such as ladders, hail guards, and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG and Flux-core welding experience and be comfortable working in multiple welding positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld structural components including ladders, hail guards, and platforms
• Perform MIG and Flux-core welding in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Accurately measure materials using a tape measure
• Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MIG and Flux-core welding required
• Must hold qualifications in AWS D1.1 (will consider ASME but prefer AWS).
• Ability to weld in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Strong understanding of measurements and use of a tape measure
• Previous structural welding experience preferred
• Reliable and able to work assigned shift consistently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Capable of working in a production/shop environment
